Our Specialist fleet of vehicles and our equipment are fully compliant with the requirements needed to achieve Cat 3 Civil and or Cat 3a Military, this can be enhanced to meet alternative levels / standards upon request. Combining this with a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan ensures the mechanical efficiency of equipment and vehicles. We also have as a reserve a full complement of vehicles available at the former RAF Upper Heyford base. This ensures that we never let customers down and provides us with the ability to manage simultaneous deployments.
When requested or when required and at the more remote sites our crews can assist with the basic aircraft movements whilst on the ground therefore, as part of the induction process we test their ability to use signals to move position and stop and shut aircraft down.
Before landings and take offs and should it be required we are able to provide the 4x4 as a really useful resource to just sweep the strip for any FOD and by use of the Horns and lights deter any birds which maybe in the location giving your pilots that piece of mind so they can focus on landing.
