Paul has been an operational front line Firefighter since 1994, serving in the MOD Fire service & Atomic Weapons Establishment Fire Service and is currently very proud to be serving with a County Fire & Rescue service in the south of the UK. He has in the last 20 plus years worked in various stations fulfilling roles ranging from Firefighter to Station Manager, Paul also is a qualified instructor in both Working at Heights & Breathing Apparatus. 

An example of events managed by Paul was that of the London Prepares events throughout 2011 /12. The largest of which was the Olympic stadium itself, an athletics event held over the weekend of May 5th / 6th 2012 which was attended by over 50,000 spectators. This was whilst simultaneously managing safety teams on multiple sites to gain the London Olympic venue licences. 

Paul is qualified as an A1 Assessor and an accident investigator and can operate at 

Silver command level. Academically Paul also holds qualifications in the 

Institute of Leadership & Management level 2 and a BTEC level 5 

Professional awards in Interactive Management & is a Graduate of the 

Institute of Fire Engineers. Paul is also a Qualified Fire Risk Assessor.
